Facilities Controller

 

Our new facility opens in June, and this this person will be a critical part of our growth.

We want this position in place before the facility opens, to better grasp a handle on how we operate and can see the shortfalls we have now and close them before getting to the new facility.

We are seeking someone that is capable of managing and running the day to day operations for our fleet and equipment, Inventory, rock yard, and bulk supplies.

Managing the inventory in the yard to ensure all field product is stocked when low, and the yard is kept clean and approachable by retail customers at all times. This person will also be responsible for managing the facilities' contracts such as uniforms for the mechanics, heating and air conditioning, fluids and supplies, cleaning company, etc. This person will need to also manage 2 mechanics, 1 yard/shop person.

 

Job Functions:

Operations: This person would be responsible for making sure all trucks and equipment are properly set up on:

  • Regular maintenance schedule

  • Managing the repair schedule for mechanics to make sure equipment and fleet are DOT compliant

  • Ensuring field breakdowns are back up and running quickly and efficiently, so the field stays productive.

 
 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills

  • The ability to stay self motivated and creative while juggling multiple projects and responsibilities

  • Field experience with site construction processes, when it comes to landscaping, outdoor living spaces, and pools/spas.

  • Digital Landscape Design Experience especially those with experience in 3D Modeling (CAD, Sketchup, Revit, Structure Studios, etc)

Full-Time. Hours may vary due to work load and seasonality of the landscaping industry.

Evenings/Weekends: 

 

Frequently will be required depending on client needs and availability - The Landscape Designer will schedule and attend their own appointments, at the convenience of the client.
